Intimate access to leading photographer’s current work. Social and political issues that define our time are at the forefront.
Lots of (high-quality!) vintage photos available for free. I have found uses for some in my video projects. It’s really fascinating to look to the past and make discoveries.
“17 Seconds”
A re-exploration of time and our perception of it.
Created during Photo Communications at The University of Kansas.
I heart Bill Plympton. The first time I saw his work was at the Gene Siskel Memorial Theatre in Chicago when the Animation Show was coming through. His style is awesomely amazing. Superb storytelling technique, transitioning between different scenes with finesse.
My first short featured Eric at his shop preparing to pierce my friend Oscar. Eric is a really interesting guy so I decided to explore another aspect of his life. He’s in his mid-20s and has achieved a lot already.
